We were so excited to shoot Joe and Lianne’s wedding day because we knew it would be full of beautiful little details. This sweet couple met on the Toronto Island so it made most sense to have their wedding photos taken there. We arranged their “first look” on the wharf where they had chartered a boat aptly named “New Beginnings” for their family and wedding party to commute to the Island. We photographed them amongst the colorful cottages and romantic pathways. Everyone on the Island is so friendly including the local cats that thought this was the perfect opportunity for their own photo shoot and free belly rubs! Their ceremony and reception followed at the Steam Whistle Brewery, which was quaintly decorated with burlap tablecloths, wedding photos of family and friends and adorable mason jars of candles and natural elements. Congratulations Joe and Lianne, we loved being part of your special day.
