Natalia and Walter’s traditional Ukrainian wedding was so much fun and interesting to photograph! One of the most amazing parts of the evening was when they ushered in the Ukrainian dancers. I am still shaking my head in disbelief over the athleticism of those dancers. The dancers put the rest of the guests in the mood to party, and atmosphere at the wedding was all about having a good time. We definitely had a great time being a part of the day’s festivities, and Natalia and Walter made us feel a part of their big extended Ukrainian family. Thank you to you both and Поздоровлення!
It was about the hottest day of the summer so far (+40 degrees!) but Ulyana and Rob were on cloud nine, and acted as if it was a breezy day in May rather than the scorcher that it was. They were so wrapped up in each other we don’t think they even noticed the heat. The chemistry between the two of them, and the fact that they were so comfortable in front of the camera made our job very easy. The day went incredibly smooth, and the setting was simply stunning at the Lambton Golf and Country Club. Congratulations Ulyana & Rob, and thank you for including us in your beautiful day.

Lovely wedding and photos!
For the first time in 5 years I managed to sneak a summer camping trip! I was super excited to visit Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick again. The Island lies a mere 11 km from the closest landfall (Campobello Island and the easternmost point of Maine) in the Bay of Fundy. The island is a photographer’s dream, and although “technically” I was on vacation, my camera was always in hand. Here are a few images from my trip. Enjoy!

It’s always a privilege when asked to photograph a friend’s special day, especially when they too are part of the “industry”.
Jim and I spent the better part of the past year working together, and I was so happy to hear of his engagement to Carla. Little did I know that less then a year later I would find myself behind the camera smiling away as they giggled for the most part of their nuptials! Their excitement in the moment was contagious and they could not take their eyes off one another.
Surrounded by family and friends and one of the largest wedding parties I’ve seen in awhile, they laughed, danced and enjoyed each moment of their day.
Congrats to two amazing people, Carla and Captain Jim!

Klaudia and Ian came to Toronto from San Francisco to be married and thankfully they brought the San Franscisco weather with them! Their wedding was celebrated at the Toronto Old Mill and it was a truly stunning day. They were both very calm and relaxed on their big day, and so easy to be around. Ian in particular was a great sport; we photographed them in the long grass, not realizing that the poor guy had serious allergies. He never even complained, but the watery eyes and sneeze attack totally gave him away. Thanks for sticking it out long enough for us to take the photos – we hope it was worth it!!
