Karine + Sean | Milton

We knew Karine and Sean’s wedding was going to be a blast after we photographed their engagement session last summer.  We were right; they are such an upbeat, adventurous couple, both with a crazy sense of humour. All of the details of their day provided a real sense of their personalities: from the lime green Chuck Taylors that Sean and his groomsmen wore, to the high-fiving of their guests during the recessional at the church, even Karine’s chihuahua that marched down the aisle sporting a mini tuxedo and a lime green leash! The cupcakes were decorated with footballs, and the massive candy bar was full of purple and green candy.  All of these elements  contributed to an atmosphere of fun and festivity.  These well-conceived details didn’t all come easy: Sean had decided on the classic Chuck Taylors that the groomsmen and ring bearer would wear, but chose a not-so-classic colour (they were likely the only people in North American on the hunt for lime green shoes).  Realizing that the colour was in short supply, he traveled to various locations across the United States to pick up the sneakers, even risking a missed flight to make sure he got the last pair.  All of their effort paid off, everything came together so amazingly and so beautifully.  I so enjoyed sharing and documenting their day.
